Nothing Beats A Healthy Deal

What's a healthy deal? A deal is defined by the dictionary as a formal agreement, especially in business and in politics. In my opinion, a deal becomes healthy when it benefits all the parties involved and when a deal promotes health and wellness. And guess what? I have a very good news for you. I know the perfect website to go to if you are looking deals--Healthy Deals Philippines.

Healthy Deals Philippines is a group buying website that offers unique deals related to health and wellness. Great discounts on products and services are being offered and featured daily. One of their ongoing deals today is the Total Contouring and Firming/Detox (Bodyworks) + Back Massage by Organique Nail Spa valued at PhP 427.50 instead of PhP 950.00. That is 55% off the regular price.

Another good news is that, if you are a blogger, you can join the "What's a Healthy Deal?' Bloggers Raffle Contest for a chance to win an Apple iPad2! The contest runs from September 20 to October 20, 2011.

Ahava Music Team

AHAVA Hebrew word for love (אהבה); a TEAM with a purpose to train, teach, inspire and influence people positively through music and our God given talents.

Romans 12:6-8 In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you. If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well. If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly.

We conduct Seminars, Workshops, Evangelistic Concerts, and Music Camps for churches and other youth organization.

True Love Waits

True Love Waits
Digi Antonio@Onedaymusic 2009

I remember yesterday I feel so ashamed
When I turned my back on You
If I only did whats right for me
Now I know what life is without Your voice

So open up the skies and show me how to find
The love that Youve stored for me
This empty heart of mine only You can satisfy
May Your will be done in my life

(Chorus)
Time is in Your hand and You made a perfect plan
I believe true love waits
If I trust and obey, Im sure Ill be fine
I believe true love waits

Sometimes I feel so alone and I want someone
That I can hold on to
But then I hear You whisper
Telling me that Youre always there by my side

I believe its true but life can be so cruel
But You will be there when I call
Now I offer You my life, guide me with Your love
Only You can make my life complete

(Bridge)
Your word is pure and true so Ill depend on You
Lord light up my way and show me how
To love in the right time

Gising Pilipinas

LYRICS:
Gising Pilipinas
Digi Antonio@Onedaymusic 2009

Ngayong umaga sama-sama nating harapin ang pag-asa
Tayong lahat umarangkada
Diba ngayon marami ang nagtatanong kung bakit ganun?
Wala namang maisip na aksyon
Hoy! Boy! Bumangon at itulak ang kariton

(Pre-chorus)
Ikaw at ako ay nabibilang dito
Sa awiting ito lahat tayo ay panalo

(Chorus)
Gising Pilipinas!
Abutin ang iyong mga panagarap
Bangon Pilipino!
Ikaw ang siyang pag-asa ng panahon

Eto na ngayon paulit-ulit ang takbo ng gobyerno ngayon
Wala na bang ihahayag kung hindi
Walang klase ngayon, walang trabaho at kahit piso
Bakit ganun? Hindi na ba tayo aahon?
Hoy! Buloy! Pahingi na lang ng konting abuloy

(Bridge)
Ito ang hamon ng bagong panahon
Huwag kang kumilos na parang pagong!

(Chorus Ending)
Kabataan, gising bayan
Abutin ang yung mga pangarap
Tayong lahat umarangkada
Ikaw ang siyang pag-asa ngayon

Hear My Heart

Music speaks what cannot be expressed, soothes the mind and gives it rest, heals the heart and makes it whole, flows from heaven to the soul.

Music expresses that which cannot be put into words and cannot remain silent.

Music can change the world because it can change people.

Music resides in the heart of all human beings. May you come to know the music that fills the emptiness within me.

On Worship Leading

Being a worship leader is very challenging. It entails more than just being able to sing or play an instrument. It’s not just about leading a band and performing on stage. I believe that the talent in music is indispensable and it is important to excel in whatever you do but it should not always be the focus of any worship leader/team because leading God's people in worship is a sacred calling. Churches should develop worship leaders and team members who are not just musically gifted but also possess depth of character and a solid spiritual foundation.

I have been a part of the worship team for more than a decade and I think that the most difficult part of being in the ministry is to live a daily life of worship. I believe that it is impossible to be an effective worshiper if you do not display the glory of God in all aspects of life. We must turn our backs from the deeds of the flesh and make our passions and desires parallel with God’s plan. In a world full of distractions, it is hard to stay focused and worship leaders need to devote their time in activities that would make them grow spiritually, make them passionate in serving God, help them increase their creativity and originality and help them keep a joyful and faithful heart. I have experienced great testing and failure in life and I’ve learned so many lessons through those experiences. To have an intimate and growing relationship with the Lord everyday is what would make me stay on the right track. Once I turn my eyes away from Him, I know I would be in trouble. I’m just so grateful that I have an awesome God who saved me from the wrath of sin and gave me a new beginning and He brought me to the right path.

I am presently handling the worship team of our church and the team consists of young people. I honestly find it very challenging to train them and encourage them to hone their skills because they need to balance their time for God, family, school, friends and ministry. I desire to be a leader that would naturally motivate them to excel in everything they do. My prayer is that God would help me become a living example of servant leadership. I know I still have to work on my character and continue to seek God’s guidance so that I’ll be the person He wants me to be. I also pray that our worship ministry would grow and eventually reach its full potential. I want our team to make a difference in our families, school, workplace, church and in the community.
